Standing all alone in the darkest night he cries for his lost love.
No one knows his pain as he longs to hear her voice calling to him from above
As the moon shines so brightly in the deep of the night his heart aches from the loss of the one who is no longer near.
He feels in his heart that if he can just howl loud enough he can surely make her hear.

As he cries out to her he hears something on the wind that warms his aching heart.
It is the voice of his lost love answering his cry letting him know they will never part.

So as the lonely wolf cries out to the one he loves we do the same.
Hoping that they will hear our lonely cry and speak to our heart in so much pain.
If we listen to the wind one night we shall hear their call speaking to our heart.
Letting us know we shall never really be apart.

The wolf teaches us well if we but listen to his cry in the lonely night,
We are never seperated from those we love tho they be out of sight.
He knows his love will always hear his lonely cry.
And with all her love she will echo on the wind her sweet reply.
